This 10.7 km cross-border commemorative circuit leads you in the footsteps of Henriette Hanotte, a young lady from Rumes who, between 1942 and 1944, under the moniker “Monique”, brought across the Belgian border into France some 135 allied airmen. From Rumes (or Bachy), you’ll discover one of the escape routes of the “ COMÈTE ” network of which “Monique” was a part.
